My sky glows orange.
I shoot deep space anyway.
Ever since I was a kid I was obsessed with the cosmos. I used to make my mother buy me science books so I could learn more and more about space. That kid never really left. Today I shoot from Puerto Rico, under a Bortle 7 sky where streetlights wash out all but the brightest stars. Every image on this site was captured through that glow with a Dwarf 3 smart telescope, one short exposure at a time, stacked for hours until the signal finally beat the light pollution.
If you shoot from a city too, you know the hard part isn't the capture. It's the processing. That's why I'm building a tool for people in the same boat.
